During the Event

You’ll take part in a series of short 1:1 chats, each lasting about 5 minutes.

Half the attendees will have a breakout room. The other half will cycle through the rooms when notified. This way you’re guaranteed to meet up to 15 people per event.

Format

The format is fast-paced but low-pressure. It is a chance to meet new people in your industry, swap insights, and maybe spark future collaborations.

After the Event

After the event you will receive access to a password-protected spreadsheet (via email) to better connect with one another post-event.

It’s designed for freelancers, solopreneurs, and small business folks looking to grow their referral network, meet collaborators, and build authentic business relationships—without awkward intros or endless webinars.

The next event is on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm Eastern Time (New York), which is 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm UTC. It runs for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We expect to hold speed networking events monthly, so if this date doesn’t work for you, you can join us in the future.

You’ll be matched with other attendees in a series of short, one-on-one video chats using timed breakout rooms.
Each round gives you a chance to talk, connect, and learn about each other’s work.
It’s structured and efficient, but not a pitch-fest—it’s about real conversations and real relationships.

We’ll send a guide book in advance by email, including tech tips, connection prompts, and accessibility info.
We recommend having a short bio or intro ready. Be ready to describe what you do and who you serve.

Each session runs about 1.5 hours, with a maximum of 30 participants to keep it focused and valuable.
Expect to connect with multiple people during the event, depending on turnout and time.

Yes—video is preferred. The goal is to create genuine connections, and seeing each other face-to-face (virtually!) really helps. We will not record the call.

Nope. This is a casual networking event, not a sales session.
That said, be ready to share what you do—clear, confident intros go a long way in making the most of each chat.

With 30 people max and 15 breakout rooms, you’ll rotate through several rounds so that everyone gets a turn to connect. We’ll keep things moving smoothly and make sure no one’s left out.

Make sure your internet connection is solid, and update your browser and Zoom app beforehand to avoid any hiccups. Headphones can help with sound, too.

We ask that you block off the full time so you don’t miss your rounds—and so others aren’t left waiting. If you absolutely have to step out, just let the host know.

Tickets are $20 per person. Spots are limited to keep things personal, so don’t wait too long to sign up!
